Looking back at 2008!

This past year has blessed us in more ways than one, but Hannah coming into our lives has been the biggest blessing! We enjoy watching her change almost every day, it really is going by too fast. She laughs, smiles, sits up, reaches out, says mama, and really just brings us much joy everyday.
We are also very blessed with a new home, Jasons' job, and our incredibly supportive families. 2008 will be a year to remember for sure, we hope that you have been as blessed as we have! Enjoy bringing 2009!

Here are some photos to see how much has happened since Hannah was born!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas late! It's been a busy couple of weeks around here. In the pictures below starting from bottom you can see we have had quite a lot of snow actually almost 2 feet. I was actually snowed in, thank goodness it has melted now! But we did have fun in the snow.
Then last weekend we did Christmas with the John side, we had everyone down for a Fondue dinner and some time to hang out. Everyone brought food, and we had a very fun time.

This last week we headed out to my parents house to spend the week of Christmas, it took quite awhile to get out of Portland but then it was pretty good roads over Mt. Hood. We had a nice stay over there in Culver. We opened gifts Christmas morning and then prepared for Christmas Dinner, the guys played games and we had a very fun day! While we were there we got to do some shopping and lots of visiting. We made it back home today, and now are getting ready for the new week.

Hannah is of course changing lots, she is now sitting up very well, she likes to play with all of her new toys, and loves to try and pet Buddy our cat. He isn't so excited about that and stays far away from her! She still says mamma, and has added babba. She enjoyed her 1st Christmases, and loved being about to celebrate with all the family.
We hope that you all had a nice Holiday, and hope you have a Happy New Year!

Hannah got her christmas present early! We got her an activity center, and she loves it! We couldn't wait till Christmas to set it up, I'm sure she will have plenty of other presents. And she seems to be most excited to play with the wrapping paper!

Well we have been getting quite the winter weather since Sunday. We have 3-4 inches of snow, and it didn't melt, and it is pretty cold, in the 20's all day. It's very pretty, but it makes people drive kind of crazy over here, this area doesn't get snow very often. Hannah doesn't seem to sure about snow, she gave a funny look when we put her hand in it.

This has been a big week for Hannah, she turned 6 months on the 9th, and she is working on sitting up all in the same week. I have been proping her up for awhile and I let go one day and she put down her own hand to keep her balance for a few minuets anyway.

On Friday my friend from Highschool and College came over with her little girl who is just a month older than Hannah, so it was fun to see them interact, and to catch up with Lindsey.

We are getting ready for Christmas, we will be headed to my parents house during the week of Christmas, and this coming weekend we are having Christmas at our house with Jasons' family! And wed, the 17 will be Jasons' and mine 2nd Anniversary, I think we are celebrating by going out for lunch! Have a great week to all of you!

December Fun

We have been having lots of fun getting ready for Christmas, the house is quite festive. Unfortunately we were sick most of last week, but the good news is Hannah never really got the cold. But now we all seem be well again!

I've gotten started on some Christmas shopping, I actually like to go to the malls and see them all decorated up for Christmas, even though they seem to be crazy busy with tons of people.
Hannah is getting quite the personality now, she laughs and giggles , and talks lots. It is so fun to see her change a little bit everyday, and tomarrow she will be 6 months old! I can't believe how fast time is going by. Well her are some fun pictures of little Hannah and of our Christmas tree, hope you are all enjoying the Holiday Season!

25 Days Till Christmas!

It's December and the count down till Christmas starts! I love this time of year, and we are very excited to make it special for Hannah' s 1st Christmas. We got a tree this weekend and have started to decorate the house, Hannah loves to look at the lights. We also had a Thanksgiving Dinner up at Rick and Kathy's house on Sunday, so it was fun to spend time up there with them and Brian and Sunshine. Unfortunately Jason and I seem to be getting sick, so we are working on fighting that off.
Hannah is working very hard on trying to crawl, she is really good at scooting, but she can bring up her knees, so I'm sure crawling won't be far down the road. This last week, she also started making different sounds they come out like "ma ma ma ma" sounds like mama, but I think it's just a new sound to make.
You will see in the pictures some of when my parents came 2 weeks ago, Thanksgiving, Hannah and all of the John cousins wanting to hold her, and some of getting ready for Christmas.
